Skyler Valentine is a 2014 MIF with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Pearland, TX who attends Pearland HS. Medium athletic build, some developing strength. Polished defensive actions, works through the ball very well, stays balanced, sound fundamental footwork, quick and easy exchange, athletic body control, good arm strength with more to come, 7.05 runner. Right handed hitter, good swing mechanics, quick hands stay short to the ball, loose high extension out front, creates bat speed, consistent hard contact, opens a bit early and looks to pull, has some gap power at present. Nice overall package. Good student.
