Kevin Herren is a 2012 LHP/1B, OF with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Lexington, KY who attends Lafayette. Quality two-way prospect. Showed improvement on the mound, improved arm speed, now quicker, still long and loose. Balanced delivery, repeats well, can still get more from lower half, online delivery. Slider flashed hard tilt, up to 78 mph, curveball flashed bite. Throws strikes from downward plane creating sink on FB. Good raw hitting tools, line drive plane, quick hands, good bat speed, long backside. Has a chance to be quality left handed bat with minor adjustments. Good feet defensively at 1B, good actions. Good student.
