Terry Hayes is a 2023 RHP/MIF with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Renton, WA who attends Liberty. Tall lean athletic build with plenty of room to add more, has aprojectable pitchers body. Ran the 60-yard dash in 7.26 seconds. Primary right-handed pitcher, displayed a smooth accelerating delivery with an over-the-top arm slot. Occasionally struggled with his release point but not often. The fastball sat 83-88 mph with good life. Has a tendency to get on the hiters quick generating a lot of swing and misses. Working in a changeup with late break and good deception keeping the hitters off balance. Also flashed his curveball and slider, both are distinctive pitches that will continue to develop as he gets older. Excellent student. Was named to the Sunshine Rocky Mountain Showcase Top Prospect List.
