18u World Series Scout Notes: Days 1-2





Ty Batusich (2021, Juliet, Ill.), a Western Kentucky commit, has been a staple in the NEB lineup as they have cruised to a berth in the championship game. The left-handed hitting catcher has stuck in the middle of the order where he is hitting well over .500 for the tournament, coming as no surprise, as he is hitting .400 for the summer. He has juice in the left-handed swing which will be a huge plus for the Hilltoppers when he gets to campus in the fall with his ability to really carry the baseball to the pull side. Defensively he will stick behind the dish with his flexibility and athleticism both working in his favor.
