JT Meyer is a 2024 RHP/OF with a 6-3 165 lb. frame from Old Bridge, NJ who attends Old Bridge. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders, high waist with long leverage and room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.17 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, works exclusively out of the stretch, longer arm action through the backside and shortens at release; short stride out onto strike foot. Works around the zone well, fastball topped out at 83 mph and maintained velocity throughout with heavy life, some drop and drive to lower half mechanics down the mound. Curveball varied in shape, best when showing downward action up to 72 mph with depth and bite, able to miss bats with the pitch throughout. Fields the ball to the side in the outfield, longer actions and release, shows accuracy on throws with carry and keeps throws low to the intended base. Left-handed hitter, begins with a wide and even stance with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; subtle shift moving into contact. Rotational swing, generates some loft to path through the zone, best contact off the barrel to the middle and pull side parts of field with line drive carry. Named to the Mid-Atlantic Top Prospect List.
