2022 PG Softball Oklahoma City Scouting Combine
Hailey Day is a 2027 OF/2B from Tuttle OK, who will attend Tuttle HS. Hailey is a young athlete with a lot of upside. During our combine she showcased very well offensively. She is a stand in RHH who is not afraid to take a big hack. She maintained consistent feel off the barrel and did a great job working the ball gap to gap. She is an athlete that is able to execute the small game as well. Her ability to lay down a bunt, adds great value to her repertoire at the plate as an offensive threat. Defensively Hailey showcased her outfield ability. Does a great job reading the ball first step, uses her speed well to track balls. As she continues to develop, one area to work on is staying behind the ball to lead into her throws. She has a good arm and accuracy and this will only increase her ability to limit extra bases for runners. She is a great young athlete with a positive attitude I am excited to see how she develops in the future.
