Matthew Logan is a 2026 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-4 205 lb. frame from Windermere, FL who attends Foundation Academy. An extra-large frame with a bigger and physical look. Ran a 8.40 60-yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher who had a longer and loose arm action with some whip to the arm. He showed a leg lift up around the belt, striding down the mound with a pretty controlled operation overall, top-to-bottom. He showed the fastball with some arm-side life to it, working up to 80 mph. He had a curveball with a 1/7 shape to it, flashing good depth. He threw from a three-quarters arm slot. Also flashed a mid-70s changeup. A left-handed hitter with a wider base, slightly open feet, and the ability to get out front and leverage the ball. He was able to flash some hard contact during his round of BP swings. He had some good swings pull-side and hammered the ball well, was pretty consistent overall during his round of swings. Added a base knock in-game as well. Also worked out as a first baseman, trying to field the ball up the middle with throws across that got better as the round progressed being accurate around the bag. Threw 82 mph across the diamond. Also worked out as an infielder with accurate throws around the bag, throwing 78 mph. He had clean footwork through the throwing motion as well. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
