Alvin Y. Medina is a 2026 LHP/OF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Caguas, PR who attends Puerto Rico Baseball Academy. Medium, square shouldered frame with some present strength and additional room to fill. Ran a 9.36 60-yard dash. Left-handed pitcher, works exclusively out of the stretch; utilizes a big leg lift up past belt, longer arm stroke through the backside and pitched to contact. Worked ahead in the count and remained efficient throughout. Fastball topped out at 69 mph with short sink down in the zone; mixed a 12-6 shaped curveball to keep hitters off balance and able to induce weak contact. Left-handed hitter, begins with a slightly open stance with a wide base and a hand set closer to body. Best contact to pull side, occasionally gets downward with path, will continue to refine a consistent stroke. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
