Kurtis Muller is a 2007 OF with a 5'10'', 160 lb. frame from Sun Prairie WI, who attends Sun Prairie HS. He has a medium framed athletic body with live quick-twitch type muscles. Muller is an excellent runner. He ran the 60 in 6.53 and can fly on the bases. Muller hit a RCF triple one at bat and it was fun to watch him tear around second base. Muller is an aggressive hitter who starts with low hands and has a slashing, attacking approach. He has surprising bat speed and pop for his size and consistently showed he could drive the ball into the gaps. His low starting position with his hands sometimes means that he's late getting to inside pitches and he's best when he can get his hands out and drive it to the middle of the field. Defensively, Muller shows raw arm strength and his speed enables him to outrun balls, but he is raw with his fundamentals and instincts. Muller impressed us with his hustling approach. Overall, he's a raw skilled player but an excellent athlete who could be a real sleeper with some development. Keep a close eye on him. Muller is a good student.
