2021 Summer Northeast Showcase (Tues/Wed)
Alan (Trey) III Porter is a 2023 OF/IF with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Ambler, PA who attends Hatboro-Horsham. Porter recorded 82 mph from the OF out of a medium build, displaying long athletic strides with accurate throws and carry behind the baseball. He showed a quick compact arm action and should develop into a defensive asset with a little clean up to the glove work. Offensively, Porter started from a wide slightly open stance with tight hands inside the baseball and clear bat speed. He flashed good barrel control and consistent lift to the pull side of the field. Ran a 6.97 60 yard dash. Named to the 2021 Summer Northeast Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
