Chase Whitley is a 2024 OF/RHP, 3B with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Litchfield Park, AZ who attends Shadow Ridge. Recorded a 7.02 second sixty-yard dash time. Lean, athletic looking frame with a high waist and plenty of projection remaining. Primary outfielder with aggressive actions in the fielding process. Fields cleanly off to the side and gathers cleanly into a shuffle release. Works slightly uphill into release, while recording arm strength up to 82 mph during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from a slightly open stance with a tight hand set, low back elbow and hover trigger. Incorporates rotational lower half mechanics and direct hand path to impact the baseball with authority to the pullside. Simple, fluid swing with present bat speed and good carry to the left side of the field. Solid overall prospect with plenty of projection and upside. Good Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
