Santiago Leija is a 2025 RHP/3B/OF with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Clear Brook. Medium frame with a lean athletic build. Ran a 7.51 second 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, quick uptempo delivery with great rhythm and pace, moves well down mound with balance and explosiveness. Compact arm stroke with very good arm speed that projects well, up to 86 with the fastball already showing good sink and run, able to miss bats with it down in zone, shows god feel for curveball, late horizontal bite had hitters chase, flashed diving changeup that plays well off fastball, can sequence all 3 and really pitch already. Also played infield and outfield, good athlete and both positions and moves well to spot, plays through ball with ease and shows good arm strength and carry on throws to bags. Right-handed hitter, even base an big move in, works the middle well with under control approach, repeats swing and handles barrel, will maintain better with added strength.
