2022 National Underclass Showcase-Main Event
Mason Whittemore is a 2024 MIF/RHP/OF/UT with a 6-0 145 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends East Cobb Baseball Academy. Whittemore works from a long limbed still projectable build with additional room to fill out. As a primary MIF, he showcased a deep fielding funnel and released from an over the top slot to produce accurate throws across the diamond up to 75 mph. He flashed reliable glove work with footwork continuing to refine. On the mound, Whittemore worked exclusively from the stretch displaying a full circular arm path and overall calculated operation with a FB dominant arsenal. Offensively, the righty started from an even wider base with the ability to use the opposite field. He relied on hand speed to generate contact with power becoming more prominent as the lower half further incorporates. Ran a 7.44 sixty yard dash. Great student.
