Christopher Valerio is a 2007 middle infielder/outfielder from Flushing, New York, with a 5'10", 160 pound frame. As a hitter, we liked his swing and his controlled, aggressive approach to the strike zone with very good bat speed. Valerio used his good hands to generate good line drive, gap to gap power. Valerio used his skills to get on base four of six plate appearances with three base hits and three stolen bases. He showed an accurate throwing arm from shortstop at 74 mph, and from the outfield at 76 mph. Christopher is a good 07 to keep an eye on.
