Kylan Cook is a 2025 SS/RHP, OF, UT with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Gulf Breeze, FL who attends Gulf Breeze. Tall and lean frame with a lot of strength to project on. 7.00 runner in the sixty yard dash. Primary shortstop, moves around well with fundamental actions, hands work well out front, good arm strength and was accurate. Gets rid of the ball quickly, showing a solid internal clock. Recorded throws across up to 86 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher, works from the middle of the rubber, side steps to a belt high lift, crossfire delivery, arm works to a three-quarters slot. Hides the ball well in the delivery, fastball has good arm-side run and got up to 83 mph (2350 RPM), developing true feel for his curveball which got up to 70 mph (1849 RPM). Also threw a changeup in the mid-70s with high spins (2106 RPM). Also worked out in the outfield, works through the ball well with athleticism showing through the operation, arm really works with obvious arm speed and works downhill on throws. Recorded throws up to 86 mph with accuracy. Right-handed hitter, high hands and a high back elbow in the stance with the feet in a narrow position, flatter bat path through the zone and has solid bat speed. Short and whippy swing, put together a solid round when timed up. Good student. Named to 2023 Summer Main Event Showcase Top Prospect List.
