Jay Tuttle is a 2023 RHP/C with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Owosso, MI who attends Owosso HS. Medium frame with present strength throughout the build. Primary right-handed pitcher with a side step into a leg lift at the belt. Over the top slot with a compact delivery. Slight crossfire landing with a compact arm swing. Fastball topped out at 88 mph with some short arm side run. Curveball shows good depth with 11/5 shape. Arm strength plays from secondary position of catcher with a best recorded pop time of 1.88 seconds. Right-handed hitter with a narrow stance and hanging load. Even base and lands closed at times. Inside path to contact with strong wrists. Strength leads way to power projection. Tremendous student. Verbal commitment to Air Force.
