Dylan Beal is a 2020 RHP with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Fairfield, OH who attends Fairfield. Medium broad shouldered build, lots of room to get stronger. Full arm action in back, arm stays on line well, high 3/4's arm slot, front side and front hip are early causing his arm to be late consistently. Mid-70's fastball, topped out at 77 mph, mostly straight. Tends to pitch off his curveball, soft spin due to his arm timing but throws it for strikes. Developing change up. Can improve with timing adjustments in his delivery. 7.68 runner, arm stroke is more compact from the outfield. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a leg lift trigger, limited lower half shift, upper body rotational swing. Good student.
