Kyle Walter is a 2021 RHP with a 6-5 235 lb. frame from Shorewood, IL who attends Minooka Community. Big and strong physical build. Compact arm action with a big hook in back, tight low release slot, has a quick arm coming through. Fastball topped out at 92 mph, gets big running life on it at times, will straighten out up in the zone. Change up is his best secondary pitch, has good feel for turning the ball over with some fading life. Still developing feel and consistency for his curveball and this will be key to his future development. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Louisville.
