Cole Horton is a 2022 SS/IF, OF with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Panama City Beach, FL who attends J.R. Arnold. He ran a 7.25 second sixty. A primary shortstop with a large frame with room to fill moving forward. On the infield he showed some carry across the diamond topping out at 81 mph, he showed decent first step quickness working around the ball with soft hands working out front. From the right side of the plate he starts with a wide base and high hand set, worked at his best from gap to gap with feel for the barrel and a long finish creating back spin when the timing is right.
