Wade Shelley is a 2025 OF/RHP with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Webb, AL who attends Houston Academy. Square shouldered athletic build with some present strength and room for more. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a very deep hand load, has quick hands and creates good bat speed, mid field to opposite field contact, still learning how to get out front and turn the barrel but that will come, has the tools to be a very good hitter. 6.74 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, works through the ball aggressively, has a long arm swing from an over the top arm slot, gets nice carry when he gets on top and out front on his throws, plenty of raw arm strength that will continue to develop. Outstanding athlete who will continue to improve with coaching and adjustments. Excellent student.
