Austin Boyd is a 2023 OF/1B with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Cassleberry, FL who attends Lake Howell. Bigger frame with broad shoulders and long levers in the lower half. Ran a 7.08 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder who fields the ball off to the side of his body, brings it to his chest and lets it rip from a higher arm slot. Was able to piece together a round of on-target throws. Waited for the ball and then worked to it and through it cleanly. Also worked out as a first baseman, showing off a quicker arm and lower slot, fielding the ball off his right leg, and working through the throws. Left-handed hitter who used his upper half to drive the ball. Was able to work pull-side throughout his round and get the barrel to the baseball. Produced some loud barrels pull-side during his round of BP. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
