Mason Bell is a 2023 C/2B with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from High Springs, FL who attends St. Francis. Ran a 7.45 second sixty. Primary catcher with a younger lean build. Sits in a wider base in his crouch before gaining ground into the throws. The footwork is still developing but maintains good direction to second base. Showed average arm strength with a 2.25 second pop time. Left-handed hitter, starts balanced in his stance with a big load to trigger the swing. The wight shifts into contact getting him on the front foot at times as he works mostly to the pull side gap. Does show above average hand speed to build on. Excellent student.

Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
