Eldridge Armstrong is a 2021 3B/RHP/OF with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Simi Valley, CA who attends Oaks Christian. Big and strong athletic build with room to get stronger. 7.16 runner in the sixty. Has good athletic footwork at third base and comes through the ball well, especially moving to his left, good arm strength from a clean transfer, drops slot well coming in on the ball. Right handed hitter, hits with high tight hands in his load, gets to his front side well, has good strength at impact, hits to all fields with a line drive swing path. Also pitched, crossfire lower half mechanics, varies his tempo often. Upper 80's fastball, mostly straight, mixes his pitches well with an 11/5 curveball and a change he has good feel for. Good student, verbal commitment to San Diego State.
