Trae Harmon is a 2018 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-4 225 lb. frame from Somerset, KY who attends Somerset HS. Very strong look on a thick mature build. Right handed hitter, late leg hitch load, rotational upper half swing, can use big lower half more, strength is obvious off the barrel, has lots of juice when he's on time and squared up. 7.26 runner, lots of skills and athleticism at first base, good hands on picks with surprisingly quick feet for his size, very strong arm for the position. Also pitched, stays tall on his back side, compact arm action, quick arm coming through. Fastball topped out at 91 mph with some arm side run, heavy action down in the zone. Secondary pitches still developing but flashed promise with his change up. Two-way prospect. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Kentucky.
