Blake Rambusch is a 2018 SS/2B with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Georgetown, TX who attends Gateway College Prep High School. Younger build and frame, present strength, with room to continue to fill out physically. Posted a 7.10 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop, moves very well to ball, fields deep, sound transfer skills, slight gather, with developing arm strength. At the plate, started with a wide, open base, slight crouch, high back elbow, and leg lift timing mechanism. Showed good looseness to hands, generated good bat speed with good whip to the barrel. Collapses backside slightly, generated line drive contact with backspin, flashed extension and drove the ball well to the middle of the field. Good student.
