Eduardo Diaz is a 2020 SS/C with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Miami Coral Park HS. Medium young athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. 7.19 runner, fields out front with soft hands in the infield, has active feet and gets in front of the ball well, second base arm strength, makes accurate throws, fundamentally sound infielder who gets outs and makes routine plays routinely. Also catches, young footwork but has the quickness and tools for the position with more repetitions, has a flexible lower half and gets low in his set. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight wide stance with a deep hand load, upper body rotational swing, line drive swing that stays on the ball for a long time, hits under control and within himself, line drive contact to all fields. Well schooled player who will improve as he gets stronger and faster. Excellent student.
