Will Casey is a 2007 LHP with a 6'2'', 165 lb. frame from Kennesaw GA, who attends Kennesaw Mountain HS. He has a lanky, long limbed body with some present strength. He looks like he weighs about 180 now. Casey throws from a very balanced delivery with a long arm action and an extended mid 3/4's release point. He gets plus running life away from right handed hitters on a 83-85mph fastball. His breaking ball is a big, sweeping 71 mph fresbee type slider. When Casey is spotting his fastballa nd breaking ball, which is most of the time, he can really pitch and get hitters off balance. He's shown a nice mid-70s change up at past events but didn't throw one this outing. Casey is a polished left hander who can throw strikes and get ground ball outs. He has committed to South Carolina.
