Matthew Vanderhoof is a 2010 LHP/OF with a 6'2'', 190 lb. frame from Elmwood Park, NJ who attends Paramus Catholic. Tall athletic build, body projects well on the mound, short loose arm action, deceptive delivery, good cutting action on fastball, works off his fastball, feel for 1 to 7 curveball, could add even more velo with better use of body, quick hands and good bat speed at the plate, extension out front, shows good raw hitting tools to work with, refined hitting approach will improve overall hitting ability, clean outfield actions, arm works, good to the ball, solid student.
