Nasir Akil is a 2027 OF/ with a 6-1 147 lb. frame from Los Angeles, CA who attends Campbell Hall. Features a wiry athletic frame with plenty of projection. Ran a 7.38 60-yd dash. In the OF, he used an athletic approach to the baseball. Fielded it clean and out front with a longer gather into crowhop. His arm action worked longer out the glove and to to an over the top slot with uphill shoulders. Showed avg. arm strength for his level getting up to 76 from the OF with accuracy. At the plate, he hits in a wider base and uses a toe top trigger. It's a balanced/compact swing where his hands fire more direct to the baseball with some quickness through the zone. Used the whole field throughout his round and flashed some gap-power at times with a frame that projects for more.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
