Padraic Bodenstein is a 2027 LHP/1B with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Scottsville, VA who attends Seton Home Study. Impressive, long lean frame with broad shoulder and stands out physically in his class. Ran the 60 yard dash in 8.07 seconds. Primary position LHP, working from the full windup and big side step to transition to balance. Quick leg lift to belt and breaks into low-3/4 arm angle creating deceptive look, especially to LHHs. Loose, quick arm action and ball jumps out of his hand with FB up to 83 mph with life. Short and tight SL in the mid-60s that profiles as a power pitch long term. Developing feel for the CH with occasional cut in the upper-60s. Real projection here. Secondary 1B, showing quick feet and plenty of arm for the spot. Moves around well and shows feel for the spot with clean glove work. RHH working from an inline stance and staying on his backside to turn. Will get some torso tilt and generate lift, the balls jumps off barrel when on time. Strength plays in his hands as he delivers the bat head to impact. One of the better two-way talents in his class. Tremendous student as well.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
