Royce Bolinger is a 2008 3B/OF/P with a 6'2'', 195 lb. frame from Scottsdale, AZ who attends Chaparral. Royce has an outstanding baseball build. He shows a very live arm with good carry in the Infield and outfield. He looked very good at 3B with smooth actions to go with his big arm. Bolinger looked very good in BP with a short swing that had bat speed. He made hard contact to all fields and was very aggressive at the plate. On the mound his fastball was easy 84-88 with little to no effort. He has smooth mechanics and lively, loose arm. He continued to show at this showcase that he is just an outstanding all around ball player. He made the top prospect list at this event and has committed to continue his career at Gonzaga.
