Josie Hernandez is a 2023 C/3B from Storm Lake, IA who attends Storm Lake. Josie has the ability to play multiple positions on the field. Behind the plate and provides a sound glove at 3rd base. Defensively she does a great job controlling the game behind the plate. Quickest pop time to second was a 2.12 and throws were kept on a line. Not only did she showcase her athleticism behind the plate but her ability to take away balls in the hole at third made her a exceptional option in the infield. Offensively Josie is a stand in right handed power hitter with next level bat whip. Generates a great amount of pop and when she is consistently using her lower half she is a force in the box. Overall solid power and got better as the showcase went on.
