Dahana also took a turn in the outfield. She is aggressive and attacks the ball....under control. She carries momentum through the fielding action and her glove plays well. Her transition is sound and her 54-mph throws are firm and routinely accurate. Dahana projects as a defender and can ably play on the dirt or grass, At the plate, this young hitter is special. Like most advanced hitters, Dahana has a great feel for the bunt game. She has a balanced stance that is relatively even at the start. She has a strong core and she incorporates that strength in into every swing. She has a short, direct, and quick path and gets her barrel to and through contact with force. The ball jumps from her bat. She has certain and projectable power that will only get better as she moves through her career. Dahana has big upside promise and should she continue to pay attention to detail and get into the weight room to improve her strength, the sky is the limit. She has the obvious ability. It comes down to drive and desire moving forward. High ceiling! Bright future!
