John Asencio is a 2022 RHP/3B with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Fajardo, PR who attends IBAHS. Medium build with a strong and durable frame. Ran a 8.09 in the sixty yard dash. A primary pitcher, slow tempo delivery with a short on line foot strike that he repeated. Full arm swing on the back and a high 3/4 release. Worked the top of the zone with the fastball and used a big breaking curveball to off set the heater. A right-handed hitter, starts narrow with the base and has some synch and rhythm to the process. Small movements and direct path to the ball as he showcased a solid middle of the field approach. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
