Hudson Calhoun is a 2023 RHP/ with a 6-3 170 lb. frame from Tupelo, MS who attends McCallie School. High-waisted, projectable build with a lot of room to fill out and add strength. Primary right-handed pitcher who only pitched during the event. Rocker step into a leg lift above the belt with a slight crossfire landing leg. Very easy release with a super low effort delivery. Fastball comes out very clean and he can locate the pitch to both sides of the plate with life. Lots of strikes early in the outing and showed a short breaking slider with mostly horizontal movement. Bigger curveball with 12/6 shape that he can land for strikes. Fastball command dependent on release point consistency. High velocity ceiling and does everything fairly athletically and easily. Great student.
