Stuart Flesland is a 2019 LHP/1B with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Colbert, WA who attends Mt Spokane HS. Smaller young build, has some present strength for his age . Short compact arm action, tight 3/4's arm slot, simple mechanics he repeats well. Upper 60's fastball, topped out at 70 mph, throws fastball aggressively for strikes. Tends to slow arm on off speed but mixes well and throws strikes with those pitches as well, curveball gets some 12/6 downer depth at times. Works quickly and was effective with a good infield defense. Showed athletic balance and actions defensively at first base. Right handed hitter, drifts into contact but has some strength when he squares up. Good student.
