Lorenzo Atwell is a 2023 MIF/ with a 5-5 125 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Hillgrove. Small and young frame with room to fill and time to do so. Ran an 8.32 second 60 yard dash. Primary middle infielder, took drills in the infield sitting back on the baseball, works through it with short steps, flashed a clean transfer with developing hands out in front, release shows potential with young arm strength across the diamond. Righthanded hitter, sets up at the plate with a closed off stance and a high hand set, uses a leg lift trigger into contact for timing, shifts weight some into swing and stays behind the baseball, opposite field contact-oriented approach, will continue to improve pop off of the barrel with additional strength.
